FP&A Senior Analyst

Responsibilities

Process ownership
  • Reporting including:
    • Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting
    • Working with management to evaluate results and forecasts
    • Understanding of potential business activity and communicating to stakeholders
  • Prepare standard reports and templates as well as ad-hoc analyses to support the management with overall process consolidation and review on a monthly and / or quarterly basis
  • Preparing presentations to be delivered to management
  • Preparing for and participating in review meetings with track leads and finance leadership teams and follow-up on action items
Finance support for functional leaders
  • Producing integration budget alongside Strategy & Transformation team following M&A transactions
  • Supporting Talent Acquisition team by providing bi-weekly status reports on hiring process
  • Provide support during Budgeting and Forecasting process
  • Pro-actively support leaders to manage their costs within their Budget and Forecasts
  • Proactively review how we can improve speed and timeliness of reporting, without compromising accuracy, by suggesting system enhancements, process improvements to eliminate roadblocks
Other responsibilities
  • Develop a customer focused approach to the internal client base
  • Participate in efforts to maintain quality, coverage and relevancy of reporting whilst streamlining and automating report creation processes
  • Participate in the continued development of budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and modeling tools
  • Support ad hoc reports/strategic efforts/projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance or Accounting) with 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Strong numerical, writing and analytical skills with an attention to detail
  • Ability to work well independently and in groups
  • Strong communication & presentation skills with the ability to engage with senior business leaders
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with Hyperion preferred
  • Proficiency in German and English (spoken and written)
